Our Team

Jessica Blackwell - Founder & Lifestyle Editor

I’m Jess and I founded The Everyday Mag. The idea was to set up a space which motivates people to KEEP writing. To know that no matter how busy life feels, no matter what industry they are in, and no matter how inaccessible journalism can feel, there is a platform that is ready to work around them and give them the space they need to grow and play. I’m incredibly proud of the mag. Aside from the mag (which at this point is 95% of my personality), I am the Studio Manager of a Boudoir Studio in Bath.

Brandon Purmessur - Music Editor

I love to write about things that matter the most to me: the climate, nature, inspirational people, and social causes.

I'm on my way to writing my first novel, and am on the hunt for jobs in publishing and/or media.

Yoga, reading, hiking and travelling are also big loves of mine! 🫶
